Bet On Sports Linked to Mob Online Site

Bet On Sports, a UK based betting company that is linked by the U.S authorities to fraud and racketeering, is now also alleged to have ties with online sites that employ associates of the Gambino crime family from New York.

According to U.S prosecutors, Bestlinesports.com, the online site with alleged connections to the mob is used to collect wages and debts.

Bestlinesports.com, the online site, employs a father and son tandem from Broward County in Florida that is connected to the mob syndicate that was formerly run by John Gotti.

U.S prosecutors said that the site collects wages on sports betting events and send them to Costa Rica where the online site was formerly based.

Joseph "Boca Joe" Fafone and Joseph Fafone Jr are the father and son tandem that is convicted of illegal gambling charges for their work in the Bestlinesports.com.

Prosecutors described the two as associates of Frank "The Bear" Basto, a member of the Gambino family.

According to the indictment charges, Bestlinesports.com is one of the online sites that belongs to or is controlled by the Bet On Sports people and affiliates.

The Bet On Sports spokesperson said that the business between the two companies are the basic tenant and landlord relationship.

The spokesperson of Bet On Sports is unsure if the business relation to Bestlinesports.com has continued.
